Since the inception of this site Phil Withers had been collaborating with me on species in France. It was he who provided the details which made France top of the European countries as regards number of species.
He had begun (and nearly finished) a paper on the Psilidae of France when he passed away in July 2020.
Subsequently his colleague in France, Jocelyn Claude, contacted me and we have agreed to continue this work with a view to publication. The work will now expand to encompass all the Micropezids and Tanypezids.
