Abstract:

The dipteran fauna of the marais de Lavours was studied over a period of four years. A variety of trapping methods was used in areas representing the major habitat-types. Over 1 300 species of fly are documented as occurring in the reserve. Remarks on selected species are given and in that case, 40% of peptides were docked successfully. We analyze the results and find that the optimized polypeptide protocol is most accurate for extended peptides of limited size and number of formal charges, defining a domain of applicability for this approach.
