Strongylophthalmyia pictipes Frey, 1935

Krivosheina, 1982: Male. Frons pale, yellowish before ocellar tubercle. Antennae, face, and parafacials also pale, yellowish. Arista yellowish in basal third, otherwise dark, with dark short, slightly appressed pubescence. Palps narrow, dark brown, blackish along inferior margin. Thorax and abdomen unicolorous, dark brown. Dorsal surface of scutum with, in addition to sparse pale pollen, numerous erect predominantly slightly brownish hairs. Coxae and bases of femora pale yellow, other parts of legs brownish, apical halves of femora dark brown. Halteres light. Wings transparent, with weak diffuse band in middle of anterior part of wing and dark diffuse spot between costal and medial veins.
